Abbreviations for Bourbons….

I have to say I feel like a moron. I have been drinking and purchasing bourbons all over the country for years, but when I come on these forums its like a new language….how come no one spells out names anymore? I work for the Federal Gov and we have tons of acronyms, now I have to deal with it in my bourbon discussions? I get on and have to decipher that WP = Whistle Pig, but for the life of me there are tons that I have no idea what they are talking about. I am not a noob, but I don’t want to have to research the acronym to find out what bottle you are trying to trade or seeking. I might be able to help, or have what you are looking for, but not if I have to do all this leg work…..
