An Evening with the Heavy Hitters: A Private Buffalo Trace Pairing Experience

Wisco Bourbon is heading back to one of our favorite Milwaukee landmarks for a private event featuring the legends of the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Join us as we take over the venue for an unforgettable night of high-proof whiskey and a four-course dinner crafted to match the intensity of these rare pours.

The restaurant will be closed to the public—giving our club exclusive access to an evening of education, camaraderie, and world-class bourbon.

The Lineup: A Flight of Legends

Each guest will receive a 1-ounce pour of these highly allocated and exclusive whiskeys:

  • EH Taylor, Barrel Proof Bourbon: Uncut and unfiltered, this powerhouse brings an explosion of deep caramel and spicy oak.

  • Rock Hill Farms Bourbon: A sophisticated high-rye mashbill known for its silky complexity and rich fruit notes.

  • Eagle Rare 12 Year Bourbon: A masterclass in balance, aged for over a decade to achieve its signature smooth, toasted marshmallow finish.

  • Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel (SFTB): The ultimate expression of the world’s first single barrel bourbon—high-proof, creamy, and truly unforgettable.

The Culinary Journey

Our partners at Ward’s House of Prime have designed a custom four-course menu where every dish is elevated by its paired Buffalo Trace expression:

  • First Course: Spinach Salad with Apple & Maple Vinaigrette—featuring Blue Cheese, Red Onion, Bacon, and Dried Cranberries.

    • Paired with EH Taylor, Barrel Proof Bourbon

  • Second Course: Breaded Chicken with Angel Hair Pasta, topped with a rich, house-made Bourbon Cream Sauce.

    • Paired with Rock Hill Farms Bourbon

  • Third Course: Beef Tenderloin Steak Diane served with creamy Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus.

    • Paired with Eagle Rare 12 Year Bourbon

  • Fourth Course (Dessert): White Chocolate Lava Cake.

    • Paired with Blanton’s SFTB Bourbon

Giveaways & Extras

As with every Wisco Bourbon event, we will be holding special drawings throughout the evening for exciting whiskey-related items. The front bar will be open for those wishing to purchase additional cocktails, beer, or extra pours separately from the pairing flight.
